Agree with everything except this. I believe the "money in politics" is the same regardless of who is in power. This would explain why there is really no difference between the Tories and New labour. Whether it's Tony Blair or David Cameron we still get a status quo of big business pulling the strings, being a 'lieutenant' of US foreign policy, privatisation, austerity, mega rich tax avoidance, bank bailouts (maybe bail -ins coming soon)...

Corbyn offers complete change that resonates with a lot of people, it's also happening in Europe and in the US with Trump and Bernie Sanders grabbing the hearts and minds over the same old same old corporate owned puppets waffling their same old waffle.

These are interesting times for sure - not sure how the "1%" are going to keep this in check but it will be ugly for sure...

Fair enough but I'm referring more to the first level "elite" support that seem obvious - Tories love their banking chums while Labour love their quango friends. Goes without saying that those that we're not aware of ultimately call the shots.

He's an interesting break from the usual but his ideology is not, and I won't be staying to watch it fail yet again should he win enough support to become PM and implement his 'vision'. There is such a thing as the cure being worse than the disease.
