Once Human Remains are involved they only seem to be able to recruit egomaniac s

I think HR believe the perfect team is a room full of "The Apprentice" hopefuls.

It is often the case. I never understood why HR get involved in hiring contractors. This should be down to the purchasing department.

There is one gig where they insist on enforcing an AWR contract. They also insist on you being a limited company, and then omit the terms of AWR that don't benefit them.

This rather pschizophrenic approach is all HR.

HR is the easy route for those that didn't try that hard at school to get into management.

The only thing this will guarantee is that you get people who are good at interviews and the interview process.

Whether they can then do the job would appear to be secondary to following the process..

I have always wondered why people follow a process and expect to achieve anything other than a tick in the box to say they have followed a process.

Because that is all follow a process guarantees.

It is because most clients believe they are hiring people not services. This is where our profession falls down and why HMRC can continually attack us with impunity.

Because the current tranche of hiring managers are as thick as pig tulip.

                And it's getting worse.

Would be really funny for him to one day realise that he is a sockie also.
