On topic yeah obviously Corbyn is Michel Foot and great for every party but Labour. I thought they would have progressed to a Neil Kinnock stage by now. But no, their Kinnock is still to come, and after that a candidate people can actually vote for in 2025, which will probably be a Kendalite or David Milliband.
Oh and Labour are now even more metropolitan, London centric and out of touch than the Conservatives are. At least the Tories have seen a tree.

We used to have a lot of gold and oil. Companies and plutocratic elite made rich by it; but not the country. Hate to bang on about it, but the boomers have been a plague of locusts on this countries assets. As for ethnic diversity support - seems reasonable to me after slavery and the asset stripping British Empire.

Indeed, Norway is about 5m people. Population of London alone is over 8m people, population of UK is approaching 70m.

We have to support a huge number of people. If you removed 95% of the UK population and shared the wealth of the nation, we'd all be living like kings.

We can't be like the Norwegians, not with our unproductive and debt laden economy coupled with a huge and growing (immigrant driven) population growth.

More immigrants arrive in the UK every year than the whole of Norway has as a total immigrant population.

                You've watched Utopia then
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

If you want to live in a country like Norway, the simplest way of achieving this is to relocate/emigrate to Norway. Simples.

Better to work in relative growth, not absolute. Saying there's more people so they can't all be as rich belies that money is created BY the population.... the UK has a much higher GDP than Norway.
As it happens GDP per capita IS higher in Norway than the UK so I think you stumbled into a correct answer by mistake

It is debt ladened because the plutocracy have not paid their share. Rich aristocracy, bankers, and corporate institutions - I don't want to destroy them - but they pay less than they could and should.

It is unproductive because there is a lack of pride and work ethic in the benefit spongers side of society. Give them to me, and I would have them fixing pot holes etc. work, education, or national service; but no free ticket. A real lack of vision as to where we are heading in the uk is a problem. There is no go to the moon. We need that, and people need to think they are working towards that. Today's youngsters, all they see is debt debt debt debt debt debt debt. Well that's a real inspiration and motivator!

I don't know the solution to migrants; but we are not alone in that problem.
