Was screaming at the TV when I heard they were going to order 200 litres of milk for 1000 coffess. Also how did they calculate 1000 cups of coffee. They were told they could sell 100 cups an hour during peak times. I would of thought 400-500 would be more accurate seeing as they had 10 hours. Lots of arguing, shouting etc. so unprofessional.
I hate the big fat blonde woman already
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I still reckon they should stick a couple of 'non-business' people in there to stir things up a bit (builders, doleys etc). If Alan Sugar can come from nowhere, why do all the contestants have to have business backgrounds?

not a builder. he would of estimated 2000 cups of coffee and charged for 3000. He probably would of had 1500 coffees himself.

alright then, a doley. Mind you, they would have spent all their budget on fags and a sky subscription and just sat their wallowing in their tracky bottoms...

        Older and ...well, just older!!

It seems to me a common business mistake is to be over optimistic and hardly ever factor in any slack, which leads to poor estimating/projections. The machine could do 80 cups an hour with an experienced operator, so they order based on 100 with inexperienced operators. If they would have ordered enough for 60 they would have won, if they ran out of supplies they could have bought some more. Mind you, that wouldn't make good TV!

Was that the one that kept on phoning Mr Fired and couldn't get through? Why did they stay in the market place when it was clear no one was around.
They should of made their own minds up and moved on.
Also why did they park their mobile cafe next to loads of other cafes but charge so much for the coffees.
I thought stupid scientist and big bird should of been fired.

They won't get true professionals on that programme anymore. No one wants to be fired live on TV and lets face it is it worth doing all that for the possibily of getting 100K p/a (taxed at 40% ha ha). I get pi55ed off if I know I have to have an interview and then do a stupid 20 min test afterwards

just seemed bloody obvious to me.
Out of curiosity - has anyone applied or would like to go on the show.
I know I wouldn't. Full of people trying to use buzz words that make you cringe. At the end of it all you have to work for a company that produces rubbish products and with a loud mouth as a boss. You reckon you would do an 8/9 hr day with him as your boss.

What annoyed me was when they got to the house for the first time and the voiceover was saying how they would be getting used to the lifestyle they would have if they won.

Now I don't know how much that house in Notting Hill is worth but I guarantee you won't be able to afford it on £100K a year.

Yep that's true. didn't think of that.
the house was in London Lite yesterday. Worth 11.5m. Apparently the are renting it out. I thought Sugar had 'a portfolio of propertys in Mayfair'. Probably all rented out at stupid prices.

How do you know they are getting £100K a year?

Doesn't voice over man say "a six figure salary"?

                    Why not £999,999 pa?
