    Rubbish Couriers

Your parcel containing Car Mats from Unique Car Mats UK Ltd T/a Unique Products UK will be delivered to you by myHermes.

You can track it on the myHermes website, using the tracking number ******************* or by following this tracking link.

You will usually receive it 2-3 working days after you get this email, although it may take longer.
WTF? What's the point of having a fancy tracking system if they only promise to deliver it in 2 to 3 days or possibly longer? Is it because Geoff has the van and might get a bit tired and go home early?

Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Most couriers are self employed, and it depends on what other work they have to fit it around

It's all zero hours work outside of the big companies
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

And the more 'business process outsourcing' takes hold, the worse it will get.

The couriers who turn up in their own personal car aren't my favourite. Where's the security in having a Peugeot 206 full of Amazon parcels in full view when you pop into Tesco for a sandwich?

There was something on Panorama or one of those type of shows that mentioned that they only get something like 50p per parcel, and only if it's delivered. If that's truly the case then it would be no surprise that they would group deliveries in areas which may account for the time delay if you're not in an area getting a lot of deliveries that day.

Hermes (and Yodel) are the worst though, don't be surprised if the website shows your package as being delivered when it hasn't been...

I had worse of an ebay purchase, after 9 weeks they eventually delivered it back to the sender, and then their website showed it as delivered

Seller was uppity I'd opened a paypal dispute, but I didn't know if they'd really posted it or whether the courier was lying, either way I wanted my money back

Hermes are the worst ever. You are sure to get at least one failed delivery message Even if you are in all day everyday. Expect to get it sometime in the next month probably beat up.

Took me a while to figure that one out.

UPS - without doubt the worst company, not just couriers that I have ever dealt with. They go out of their way to be unhelpful.

Most couriers will give you a call a couple of hours before hand so you dont have to take a entire day off work. They point blank refused to offer this service. All they tell you is that you need to be in between 7am and 7pm. When I ordered, I wished I'd filled out the delivery address as "somewhere between London and Brighton"
