Lost my Passport

When I was a kid I grew up thinking that my birthday was 31st Oct as that is what I was told. It was only when I got to 20 that I found out that I was actually born the day before. By then I already had my driving license dated 31st. I then applied for my passport and needed my birth certificate. When this arrived my date of birth stated 13th Oct. I wrote a letter to whoever at the passport office informing them that my birth certificate contained a mistake and that I was actually born on 30th Oct. I was amazed to get back a passport dated 30th Oct. So at one point I had 3 official documents all relating to me and all with different birthdays.

My god what planet were your parents on that they didn't even know what day you were born?? I mean if it had been 29th Feburary I could have understood but the day before Haloween.... how hard can it be??

A bit uncalled for - paddy only made a helpful suggestion - I ask for my outdated passport to be returned when applying for a new one -so it was a valid proposition although not applicable in your case.

Nah it's just a mid life crisis. When he gets his passport gets out to a different country and shags a nice nubile 20 year old he'll be feeling much better.

Who are you calling moron, you BIG MORON. My old passport was lost, but had I did have most of my previous outdated passports. Are you saying that You have had only one passport in your lifetime or you throw away all your old passports? MORON AT HOME AND NOWHERE TO GO.

That was my response also. I mean, it most have been some kind of event which you would expect them to remember. I still celebrate my birthday on the 31st as it was the day I grew up knowing as my birthday.

They get alternate kids right though. No mistakes with my older sister, or my younger borther, but when my folks moved to Aberdeen, my youngest brother got put back a year in school because she told the school the wrong year. He was 13 at the time and had a growth spurt. He looked like the div kid (Peter Crouch) when he was with his mates.

Were you born in the 70's ? It could explain a few things.....
