New timetable that came into effect yesterday means my morning train arrives 4 minutes earlier. Lots of the numpties who get on at Crossflats haven't realised yet so there are plenty of seats and I get a nice warm feeling as the train pulls out of the station and passes the fools running to try and catch it.

You sound like the type who waits for the neighbours to go out on Bonfire Night before setting off the fireworks, so they can't get a free display.Originally posted by GlenW View PostI get a nice warm feeling as the train pulls out of the station and passes the fools running to try and catch it.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

If it’s one of those sh1tty pacer units I’d rather miss it and walk. Many years ago they introduced a special Autumn timetable on the Penistone line cos it features loads of single track sections and loads of trees so delays got worse and worse as the day went on. They set the trains off 5 minutes early to counter this, but the really clever thing was not telling anyone about it. It was a great success because the numbers of people inconvenienced by late trains was massively reduced by virtue of the fact they were all still standing on the platform.Originally posted by GlenW View PostNew timetable that came into effect yesterday means my morning train arrives 4 minutes earlier.
