Indeed. The LDs are the only party who have explicitly acknowledged contractors as a group in the bit of fluff they sent IPSE. For the rest you have to infer it from their overall attitude to free enterprise and tax, and of course political self interest/pragmatic concerns, and even that isn't necessarily reliable as the Tories have proven. So the concern is somewhat understandable.
