Yeah I saw the original in the Spectator Five rules of politics that Nicola Sturgeon has broken - Spectator Blogs

I don't know why some English people are saying she's dangerous. For a start, she is the only one of the leaders (apart from Farage, I suppose) who answers a question put to her. Dave & Ed have a question in their heads that they answer but that bears no resemblence to the question they were actually asked. It's all about getting their message across like a broken record.

They tried to use the French to say she really wanted a Tory government but you can't get much more of a straight answer she gives if asked if she would support a Tory government and the French backed up her version of events. I wonder how that investigation is going, given that Alistair Carmichael has admitted the faked memo came from the Scottish Office.

In the same way that if any socialist got near the levers of power, we fear higher taxes, a disentegrating economy, bodies left unburied on the streets, endless strikes etc

I don't want to see the 1970s again
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

The higher taxes mentioned so far are a higher rate of 50p only if you earn over £150,000 a year and own a house worth over £2m

The 1970's had a higher rate of 98p in the £. I think that might have been Edward Heath's government?

We've seen quite a lot of Nicola meeting people in the street (despite the Daily Fail having a story saying she keeps away from the public). Have a look at Google images https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ni...isch&oq=&gs_l= and she is totally natural with people. I've witnessed it first hand.

Then have a look at Dave & Ed in sterile environments where they never meet a normal person in the street. Here's Alex Thomson's take on Dave's visit to Glasgow:

Yes, I've heard some tales from her Uni days that she was quite good at 'meeting people'.

So, in other words, you made it up cause it suits your agenda.

Did you not shag anyone at uni then ?

She did better than Jim Murphy then. Nine fee-free years at Uni, left without a degree and his virginity intact

Well, you definitely need a PM who can chat to someone in a street. That's a big part of running the country.

I think you need to be able to connect with normal people and not just members of the Chipping Norton set or Bullingdon Club, yes.
