    probably.
    .....
Peregrine Worsthorne, former editor of the Telegraph, used to say that he read the Guardian every morning, until he had read it he didn't know what he disagreed with. In the same spirit and humour, the Guardian got Worsthorne to write the introduction to their annual collection for several years running.

Obviously both Worsthorne and the Grauniad of that era loved a lively press more than they loved their own prejudices.

Bless. Yes, if you want to believe that, go right ahead.
        Great arguments.

I believe that the BBC purchases a grossly disproportionate number of Britains' 2 most left wing broadsheets, because that is what your FOI indicates.

You write and complain about it then.

At the same time, complain to the BBC and the newspapers about how the coverage of each political party is grossly disproportionate to the number of MPs they have. It's disgusting how much attention Clegg gets And those party political broadcasts make it same like they're all on the same level.

Under what possible circumstances might it be reasonable to expect an organisation that buys newspapers in order that its staff can be informed of the full range of opinion being expressed in the national press, to align its expenditure with household circulation? How would that work? "We need to cover this scoop in today's Telegraph!" "Oh, sorry, we're not getting that this week - we bought it too many times last month, so we can't have any more until next Tuesday."

But of course you're just trolling. Not very well, either: if you need to borrow your material from Paul Staines (aka Guido), and five-year-old material at that, you're not even trying that hard

Is that supposed to explain why the BBC's newspaper intake focusses overwhelmingly on the two most left-leaning newspapers ?

It doesn't. We've done this already.

Ah yes, in your fantasy world where 45,672 is a much larger number than 78,463
