Well every member can put themselves forward for CC each year, and every member can vote for a number of candidates each time.

If you don't like it, then stand for election and change the direction and member engagement. How much more democratic can it be?

Nah as you know I've no desire to fund the organisation and even though they claim it I've no inclination to lend them my mandate either. It's no mystery to CUK posters that I don't trust IPSE or its management any further than I can spit.
The attitude of their representatives who post on CUK is also a complete turn off, they portray the organisation as arrogant, self serving and deceitful.

Engagement with users could be better, but there is no scandal to look for.

The issue is the limited number of people who can be arsed to stand for the CC, partly it's apathy but mainly because it's hard for working contractors to give up weekends when they work away

But then it's easier to come on a fora and whinge about them, than stand for election
