3. Cameron on child benefit: "I wouldn't means-test it"
4. NHS: "no more top-down reorganisations"
5. On Education Maintenance Allowances: "we don't have any plans to get rid of them"

Sometimes I wish that AI WOULD overthrow the human race. I'd quite fancy being ruled by a cold, logical, amoral machine logic instead of the usual shower of idiots we end up with. Might make a refreshing change.

I hardly feel the Tories have fixed anything much. Poverty is a bigger issue now than it was when they got in.

I think they're the best of a bad bunch, that Cameron is the best party leader by far, and I don't agree with the "grass roots views" of the Labour supporters I know but let's not get carried away applauding the Tories' achievements.

Imagine a family who are living off credit cards, loans and overdrafts, they feel well off because they can afford to buy most things. Then crunch time and they go bankrupt and need to now only live on what they earn, they will feel poorer.

A view I agree with. But cuts shouldn't lead to actual poverty - that's cutting the wrong area (apart from anything else the poor don't have much money in the first place)!

Not that the Tories have done what you say anyway - all they've managed is to reduce how quickly the debts grow - debts are still increasing. So we've still living off credit cards, we just don't have to shift the balance quite as often now.
