        Although, I would be surprised if the rates I was on were that much above average considering it seemed to be the low end of the London offerings. The other gig I nearly got (got as far as the verbal offer) was £650 a day, although that seemed to be the top end of what I could realistically go for with my background at the time.

            Well not bad for what are in essence Glorified File Clerks or as Fleet would describe "Hookers with Keyboards" As for moi - I don't care as I have transcended that horrid business of "work" - are you happy at your "work" ?

                Doubt a boiler engineer (nevermind a bricklayer) takes considerably more effort. They're just very scarce.
