Last few series of Top Gear have been very tired. Should have been 'rested' along with the p*** poor Dr Who years ago.

He articulates, with a certain wit and with less equivocation than any other writer in this country, the doctrine that he should be permitted to swing his fist, whoever’s nose is in the way.

He punched somebody he works with. Of course he should be suspended over it, at the very least. In any normal workplace, he'd be sacked on the spot for that, and the police would probably be involved. The BBC are going bloody easy on him.
