There's not that much to take the piss out of really, it's not like he did a Barrymore or Angus Deayton. His contract wasn't renewed at BBC, he (+ May and Hammond) went on to better things:
Will be good if he's the guest host, am sure he can take it and give as good as he gets.The new show, which is thought to be called Gear Knobs, will reportedly see Clarkson take the title of Britain's highest paid TV host.
It has been claimed the star will draw the equivalent of his annual BBC salary for each episode, taking home more than £10million.
