So let me get this right then. True believers can basically do what they like, including sin, but provided they believe in Jesus they will have assured entry into heaven. However, a devout budhist will do nothing but good all his life, he will not sin but because he does not believe in Jesus he will go to hell. Something not quite right with that somewhere Chico. Why don't you just forget all the 'teachings' which are basically man's interpretation of God's word and just be nice to people for the rest of your life.

No true believers cannot do basically what they like. Jesus says repent and obey him by obeying God's commandments. As for the buddhists, atheists, etc etc Jesus says he is The Way, The Truth and The Life - period.
