Well now, while he was a man he said prayer can move mountains

Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25 NAB)

There is a little hill behind my house Cheeky, pray for it to be dumped in the Mersey and I will be the best Christian you ever met. The verse is an invitation, go on, do it. You can do it Cheeky. If you are a true believer

So Chico, putting "my Father's Kingdom etc" to one side, what do you suppose Joseph said when the virgin Mary told him,

      "Err, Joseph, I think I'm pregnant !" ?

      Howsabout,

"Well I did wonder a bit girl after we moved all the way here from Galilee ... and discovered we still had the same milk man !"

I just finished reading the Da Vinci Code and it was quite an interesting book. I now feel an urge to find out how much of it is true and how much
Mr Brown made up. The book does a good job of showing christianity in a new light and also the various symbols used by christianity.

Have you read it Chico? and if so what is your take on it that Jesus was a great leader of royal blood and married to Mary Magdalene and not in fact the son of god?

            Time for a second coming

We definitely have a few sin debts overdue nowadays. Mainly from over zealous extremists of all faiths that believe accension to Paradise / heaven etc requires us to eliminate other faiths in large numbers.

The Da Vinci Code is plagiaristic tulipe.

A word to the wise, don't ask too many questions and when approached by a man with his trouser leg rolled up, run away very quickly!!!

Seconded. The Da Vinci code is unreadable tulipe. The hoopla it generated is due to the current rise in the numbers of the hard of thinking.

I quite enjoyed it as it basically said that christianity is a big old fraud. A sentiment I can definetly identify with.

I realise that most of it is fiction but I am interested to find out which bits in there are fact/based on fact. I could start a whole anti christianity movement and expose the true story of Jesus to the world, a man who is , well a man really!

(OK I realise this is not something i'm going to prove, just getting my daily dose of anti-religion in)

You could always go anti-Abrahamic and get the Jews, Christians and Muslims all in one go.

                      Did somebody say Abraham ?

Oh God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"
Abe says, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"
God say, "No." Abe say, "What?"
God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin' you better run"
Well Abe says, "Where do you want this killin' done?"
God says, "Out on Highway 61."

Now the rovin' gambler he was very bored
He was tryin' to create a next world war
He found a promoter who nearly fell off the floor
He said I never engaged in this kind of thing before
But yes I think it can be very easily done
We'll just put some bleachers out in the sun
And have it on Highway 61.
