Well most Olympic sports are about the sport Ideology & not the historical practical application, as comparison fencing is a technical sport & has no relevance to actually stabbing someone to death.

I admire the guy's skill at what he does but it different to the accuracy of Olympic style sport.

Hitting an incoming arrow is a high level of accuracy though, or a knife blade. Although I remain a little skeptical there is no trickery going on.

Always said Olympic Archery should be English longbows for all competitors and that's it. And moving targets like on Wii Sports Resort. That'll sort the men from the boys.

Saying that we'll still balls it up and lose to Zee Germans.

He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Of course the doubters come out when anything goes beyond their own capability.

Still think modern archery is not up to the level of skill. Shooting a 2cm target 50m away is impressive, whether that's the left or right eye of your enemy however I'd consider the job done. I'm not sure an olympic archer would take out as many targets as Lars would.

Well no, because they haven't spent years learning to do that. Just as he would suck competing against them in their sport.
I bet expert snipers would not win at world-level clay-pigeon or pistol shooting events either, it's all about specialism... like those amazing football skill show-offs.
