I remember working here: Kennesaw, Georgia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, frightening...http://thinkprogress.org/justice/201...-to-own-a-gun/

      (a) In order to provide for the emergency management of the city, and further in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants, every head of household residing in the city limits is required to maintain a firearm, together with ammunition therefore.

The interesting thing is with the amount of guns in America there are comparatively very very few people killed by gunshot as a proportion

The fear of guns in this country is absolutely bizarre.
It was an accident - and one that could easily have been avoided. Sheesh. Silly fatal accidents happen in this country all the time.

I guess this is 'only' in America too?

Not bizarre we have had enough terrorists killing people without guns being involved.

We also don't like madmen shooting others whether they are police or members of the public specifically children

Yes if they had reasonable gun laws like Canada

I don't think that we have a "fear" of guns.

What is bizarre is that people would feel the need to take a hand-gun to the supermarket.
