I'm sure you are very proud of your degree, you have a whiff of "I was the first person in my family to get a degree" but let's not pretend it is something that someone of my ability would have had to work for. I just aim a bit higher than you. I can tell I'm from a family that aims a bit higher than your family.
A BSc in Mechanical was NOT a noddy manufacturing and technology course, but I'm sure you'll never admit that, cause you're clearly up your own arse.

Someone of your ability codes for the web, watches X factor and votes Labour. A mighty achievement right enough

You know nothing about me or my family, so why comment ? You are clearly clouded by a totally unwarranted superiority complex but carry on, gives us something to laugh at when the forum is quiet.

          Right you are Columbo

I have not contracted for 18 months, I'm a partner in a loan brokerage, I have never voted anything other than Conservative.

You are one of these west of Scotland cliches, first one in the family to get to uni, probably have the degree certificate framed but just can't make that leap into middle class as you don't want to distance yourself from the family who probably spend their days eating curry and gambling. If your work colleagues and your family ever met you would be mortified. "oh no, what is he saying, must try to keep them apart"

So you cling on to this hard man act. "See you fanny baws", "next time we meet" etc. etc. You have "asked me outside" on several occasions, of course I humour these shows, physically you are not even going to be in the same race track to me let alone allowed in the race but I allow these little indulgencies into your personality. I enjoy seeing your little displays.

SO you have to decide, do you want to be middle class or are to too scared to upset the working class family?

You're such a twat it really is beyond belief.

Again, you just make up a load of tulip about things you know nothing about based on a complete lack of any kind of knowledge. I'm sure my family would have a right good laugh at your summary of their past. My old man was head of research at British Steel, my sister is head of English at Hamilton Grammar and most of my immediate family (me included) went to Hutchy. Don't think my mother would ever have been within 20 yards of an indian takeaway and I would very much doubt any of them have seen the inside of a bookies

You carry on with your love of yourself, the union, Celtic and .X Factor (the only things you've ever professed any kind of liking for). Remember to take your head out of your arse before you eat your turkey

You went to hutchy and you ended up in a trade?

You must be one thick boy.

I've been having to decide St Als or Hutchy recently. I think you have made the choice for me.

How exactly did I end up in a trade ? You really make some strange leaps of logic.

Is this you back to knowing one apprentice from the NEL ? The person you knew from the NEL was an apprentice, therefore everyone who worked there was as well ?

You apprentice friend was industrial staff, there were also clerical, but the majority were Scientific grades.

For someone with so much faith in their 'knowledge' you seem to know very little. Do you think steam tables were researched and written by the guy who works the angle grinder ?

I said I knew 2 apprentices from the NEL.

You are displaying the attributes why you had to go into a trade. Not able to use sources of information reliably.

What a waste of money, those years at hutchy, they should have just packed you off to Shawlands academy and went on cruises each year.

Makes no difference how many apprentices you knew. The majority of the people who worked at the NEL were not apprentices and did not do 'a trade'. I was never an apprentice and never did a trade. Therefore, you're talking tulipe again

Do your partners at the loan brokerage find they have to explain things to you more than once ?
