Scottish Hydro Electric (SSE) is one of the biggest producers of electricity and was the reason they were bought by Southern Electric.

SE had 4 million customers but no generation capacity whilst SHE had loads of generation but only 250,000 customers at the time of deregulation.

Phew, thought you were being serious for a moment, now I see you were jesting.

because we all know that water vapour is the big greenhouse gas. don't we ?
      CO2 is a bit player

you did know that ? right ?

Water vapour is the product of evaporation. And what could be helping to increase evaporation? Oh I don't know, perhaps an increase in surface temperature? And what could be causing that?

Shurly you realise those events are connected?

I very much suspect at Christmas time a lot of Scots will be raising their glass and toasting the English for making sure they have a secure supply of electricity.

The Scots used to be famous for their superior education system.

Not at Christmas Time. That's an English thing. We raise our glasses and toast absent friends at New Year.

Yes, I can see all that CO2 pollution in that photograph. Very murky stuff indeed that CO2, that god we are all paying a fortune for some foreign energy company to push a windmill round and blow it all away.

Well then I might just consider raising a wee dram at the New Years to the Scots for providing a secure supply of whiskey to the English

Change the topic fast. Makes me homesick.
