More likely people are tight and stupid. £5, or an hour plus sat in a jam around Birmingham? Which is more expensive?

But if you don't sit in traffic for an hour you can't be late for work.....

Also the Dartford crossing is cheaper...

Though not so good for getting around Birmingham.

          Maybe,
It probably is over priced outside rush hour. Inside it, depends how one values their own time (>£5 an hour or not).

It doesn't matter how wealthy I get, like dodgy I can only drive one car at a time. That's true for most people I'd wager.

Around Newcastle, where I used to live, there were loads of scrotes who'd help you utilise the usage of your vehicles. Thieving b'stards!

some people do actually have more time than money.

If by "getting around" Birmingham you mean avoiding it then the Dartford tunnel is actually a very good option!!

Rush hour in London and the SE is most hours of the day and most days of the week.

I thought all this fibre-optic meant that we no longer needed to leave our homes to do work? So why all the roads. Or is that all to keep the car builders (and their unions) happy?
