There have been 2 cases recently in Scotland of runners going off into the hills completely unprepared, both of whom should have known better.
The Royal Marine sadly lost his life sadly and the activities instructor was found in time.
Even on a short run on hills I will pack a bivvy bag, fleece, water proofs, 3 space blankets in a slim line backpack. I just cannot see why people don't do that.
