trust me from what I hear there are worse hubbies out there!

I think the one who ran off with a co worker when the little one was born then came back and spent a year off sick with a mental breakdown (he was a postie) with his wife working 3 jobs to support him was probably a winner. Though the one banging the sister in law weekly in the marital bed is a contender.

Just being more of a priority in his life than the telly would do me for starters. Still, we had a night out in 2011, so I suppose I should be grateful.

Oh definitely. He's quite happy for me to do my own thing and doesn't get possessive / jealous. Couldn't cope with a jealous partner.

hmm that is a bit much. Tell him to get his Lycra out I'll buy the beers in Reading.

Must admit if Mrs V feels like that she just organises something and makes attendance mandatory.

a lot to be said for being comfortable with someone even if they are a bit boring (I had a girlfriend like that, strangely the sex was great it was everything else that was disappointing), its just when they don't fulfill all your needs you look at greener grass and get sad.

Mrs V ticks most of the boxes and puts up with me which is a big plus.

Somehow I doubt the woman is the one who needs to improve in at least 50% of cases.

Am relatively happy with my lot. Possibly a bit more on the talking side, he doesn't do romance very often but seems to do it when it really matters.
