We were always going to stay part of Britain as we are part of the British Isles.

The UK OTOH is going to break up soon anyway so we will have our Independence

Various statements by the various members of the Cons Party..who then have to "apologise" for their remarks! LOL Funny but not really heart warming stuff.

Spock: "Trained? Judging from you, I would have guessed it was trial and error."

If you mean the welfare minister, his comments were entirely reasonable, whatever Cameron etc may think. A lot of the apologies are cowardly PR.

Conservatism is the ideology of putting oneself before others, bullying those who are weaker than you, discriminating against those who look or behave differently from you. Conservatives give more to those who have the most and take from those who have the least. Conservatism is a very limited perspective that is initially self-serving, but ultimately contributes to the practitioner living an unfulfilled life, and harming all those that he/she comes into contact.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

How long did you spend searching for that little lot of meaningless anecdotal "evidence"? or did you just look at the socialist worker website? . Your twisted description of conservatism could actually be ascribed to the lifestyle of an IT contractor such as yourself

What I see is a man with a vested interest in being free to ply his trade across the entire European Union. To enjoy the lifestyle privilege bestowed upon him by conservative values i.e free markets within which to sell ones services at the best possible prices. i see a man who will selfishly defend to the hilt the mechanism that delivers his affluent and privileged lifestyle despite the misery that its policies pour onto the people of Europe (the EU ). I also see a hypocrite that enjoys the trappings of conservative free market values yet has the audacity to belittle the people that fight day to day to preserve the freedoms that he so enjoys.

Call it what you want but all I see in you is a self serving hypocrite
