        Locke:

A classic in my view, one mans car journey with one camera down the M1, as his life falls apart without actually seeing any of it on screen. Funny to see the Yanks complain in the reviews on IMDB, 'this is tulip, cost $50 to make' etc. Class Film.

        Rudderless:

Watching it now, bit like 2006's Once in a way, man and music and making it happen...
If it is similar to Once then i will definitely watch it.

Locke is also on my watch list.

Recently saw: A most wanted man - excellent movie.

Just goes to show, I was about to dis-recommend Most Wanted Man. Went along on the basis that it had a lot of the elements of 'Tinker Tailor' which I absolutely loved, but for me it was little more than a series of derivative spy-thriller cliches strung together, with none of the atmosphere, period detail or understated performances of TTSS.

Philip Seymour-Hofmann was no better than 'Okay' as the standard 'maverick anti-authority operative with issues' character.
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

I struggled with the book, probably because I disliked the protagonist too much. Sounds like Ben Affleck is a good fit for the role. Twat that he is.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

The film has a different ending

I'd lost interest by the end more or less, and found it a bit too ridiculous to take seriously

Its not - the husband and wife who live next to the students are just really annoying.

Also I didn't think muich of Locke either.

                    I preferred version 1!

Interstellar might be a good film. Could be crap as well though, depends how much guff they put in it.
