    Reaction and overreaction

It's always hard to get the balance right. As a qualified chemical engineer, I always think that human behaviour is like a very badly tuned control system, rather than reacting sensibly, it oscillates from one extreme to another.

Political correctness has made our authorities ignore the threat of Islamic extremism but, since the ISIS thing, I wonder if they are now overreacting, picking up on online comments with no evidence of serious intent behind them, castigating naive youngsters as Jihadis etc.

Can we get away with saying anything online now, no matter how little evidence there is that a) we mean to go through with it or b) there is a serious intent to influence others?

Test. Wondering if anyone would care to join my assassinate Tony Blair movement? Please pm me.

    PS Hello Officer.

Forget that, years ago we made a Tony Blair puppet instead of Guy Fawkes for the bomb-fire. He burnt for hours and hours.

      Even cassetteboy is facing prosecution.
