Deserves a vote of thanks for the way he handled the No campaign. Whereas I don't agree with his politics I do admire the statesman-like way he dealt with Alex Salmond.

An earnest, well-meaning, dull as ditchwater economist.
Should have looked at the positives of union and the inevitable reforms that are coming following the vote.
I like him but between him and Milliband they nearly lost the union.

Makes no difference. They were always going to vote no - even if they had a meeting of the Bullingdon Club in Princes street on Wednesday night.
The Scots are tight - and know they get loads of cash from the English. Let them carry on Freeloading and whining.Comment
