Then it's probably something visible in terms of clothing. Oddly enough, I was once very nearly beaten up by a couple of blokes in a pub who called me a '******* Jew'.

Like what? I actually know quite a few Jews from when I worked in Israel yet they looked more like Arabs, and, oh yeah, I believe one of my grandmothers was Jewish so I'm just off to look in the mirror....

Unfortunately you are just going to look like 92% of the population in the UK i.e. a mongrel. The Jews I've met and know in England look like everyone else unless they are orthodox ones.

I actually had a Jewish housemate with blonde hair and blue eyes, and like a couple of people I know you wouldn't know she was Jewish unless she told you. Other Jewish people you can guess they are by their surnames but then a lot of them aren't practising........

Maybe you two don't understand the word "stereotypical". Not every Jew has those features, not everyone with those features is Jewish (and are we talking believing Jews or people of Jewish ancestry?)
