      Spain says No

As an aside, the Spanish PM has stated that Scotland would have to leave the EU and re-enter. Their foreign ministry has stated they would support Article 49 and not 48.

Ok lets allow the Spanish PM to decide if we go independent or not. I hope the cowards stay away from the polls and brave Yes voters prevail. We should tell the No's there is a risk they will get knocked down if they go outdoors. That would keep them away.

They've been through the roughest economic period in recent history so that counts for something, personally I hope there is yes vote as I've said previously then we can see what happens in reality away from all the bluster.

You can highlight what may or may not happen in the event of independance but until it actually happens it's all up in the air, just like the oil BoE estimates, no one will know till they extract it over a period of time.

Thing is both sides of the debate are lying so it's par for the course.

Some people here seem to think the EU will be happy to 'Fast track' Scotland in, I tried to tell them yesterday that the feeling in the EU is the exact opposite. They are not keen on separatist and nationalist tendencies as one day those could be turned against them.. The Spanish PM seems to be confirming this.

Rajoy said independence votes are bad for people of Europe .. spirit of the age is integration, not separation.

Personally I hope going forward more people in the UK will see that things can actually change rather than accepting the status quo, politicians exist to serve the people not the other way around. I live in hope anyway
