      1600 watts probably does not mean a lot to people. Perhaps even reasonable for some, after all it collects all those tiny specks of dust.

      Consider the sweat that pours off you after 20 minutes on the exercise bike. You're generating about 120 watts at best.

      Do we really need the energy spent on 13 exercise bikes to pick up dust?

        But your point remains correct; 1600 watts is a hell of a lot of power for the purpose.
