Seems to have recovered quite well now, 2 paracetamol on Saturday evening then 4 pints in the pub took the edge off it. Thanks for all your concern.

The night before my wedding I was putting something away in the shed and a branch whipped and caught me in the eye. I ended up in A&E and I found that I had a scratch on my cornea so impressive the doctor gasped when he saw it. That was seriously painful, it occaisionally flared up but if I blinked it was agony and if I rubbed it it was agony. Luckily it did not strike on the wedding day in church.Comment
