Hi All
Was interesting in other folks' opinions here...
I currently work as an Infrastructure Architect for a large multi-national, currently on enterprise mobility (allowing access to corporate applications on personal/BYOD devices)...so my focus is on Blackberry, MobileIron that sort of thing. Background is general Windows Server/ Active Directory. It's an interesting role as 'mobilising' applications is definitely where it's at.
Have been offered a role within the Security team focusing on Intrusion Detection/ Prevention (IDP). They will provide training although there will be a large element of self-study.
Reading around, there doesn't seem to be another day that goes past without some company being hacked. I expect IDP will be a great skill to have in the future.
What are people's thoughts here?
