You then decided that he was an arrogant twunt and banned him again.

How long has being an arrogant twunt been grounds for banning?
No, he was permabanned when I thought he was being a sockie, he then complained to Admin.

And I'm pondering whether or not to let him back.

(But eek's right being an arrogant taunt has been bannable forever, it's just how far you're prepared to push it. Just look at flipFlop. One if the biggest twunts around here and I've actually unbanned him.

He is just a tw4t so can't help himself. Time are tough in Magyar?

Let him back, but only let him post in General.
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

Oh, please let this be possible. Pretty please. You know you want to.

Can you not justify the ban due to the fact that this is Contractor UK and he obviously fails the residency requirements

If the role involves lots of interaction with people, then it can be useful to see how people actually react to being in that kind of environment rather than just seeing how they look over a video call.

If the client says "I want a face to face interview" and the applicant says "how about Skype instead?" then I can see how some clients might wonder what they are hiding that they don't want to come in.

Better to let the OP post only in the NTRT thread.

Many of my techie colleagues have serious personality issues, ranging from atrocious personal hygiene to an inability to communicate face to face. For some roles, that is OK, but for some it's not, and a face to face is what you need to screen out the weirdos. If anyone doesn't recognise that, they're probably one of the weirdos.

Thankfully, I've not had to do a face-to-face interview for many years now

If they've met you before, who can blame them?

agree completly no need to F2F techies as the most retarded/stinky looking ones are normally the best.
