Turn up, do what you are told and remember to invoice.

Wouldn't that require two girls on reception or are subbing for one of them?

Not especially. I know you're hinting at IR35 implications of direction and control, but it's not unreasonable for a client to expect you to do *some* things they tell you to. We're contractors, we're not Bartleby the Scrivener.

"Ok, can you build us a widget that does <x>?"

            "I would prefer not to"

Come to think of it, maybe Bartleby wasn't a passive-aggressive douchebag at all. Maybe he was just worried about IR35.

To the OP - of course you should treat the work seriously. If your work-load is heavy and you want to make a good impression then crack on. It isn't just renewal that you should think of - also consider the LI recommendations, nurturing contacts for later on business deals etc...
Its not me but can just administrators use IP Lookup?

Seems a bit of weird if anyone can see where a post is coming from surely???

I can do it as a super user. Not sure if normal members can do it.

Yup. Don't have mod level permissions though so can't do anything with the posts and the like. I can just see all the users details and some back end permissions.
