Working In Belgium Through Uk Agency

    Hi,

I am a French citizen and will be contracting for the first time so need help.
I have got a contract to work in Brussels through a UK recruitment agency who have a contract with a Belgian company. I would ideally prefer to get paid through a French company but would like to know all the options avaliable. I have been recommended to a tax management company (www.connexion.lu) based in Luxembourg but would like to know if there are any umbrella or other companies providing similar setups in France. Please help as need to sign my contract by tomorrow noon.

    thanks.

Il n'y a aucun problème avec Connexion. Je ne suis pas avec eux, mais je connais pas mal de consultants qui sont pas passés par eux sans qu'il y ait eu le mondre souci. Fonce, mon pote, fonce.

Why do you prefer a French company? Is it a loyalty thing?

A number of these management companies are set up in their countries of residence to avoid you getting taxed to death. You will find they manage to avoid certain restrictions from home countries (certainly UK).
I have heard good stories about connexion (oddly from another management company) but have never used them.
Ring them and ask what benfits they offer over a French based firm. You could also try Itex, PSB and Pearl Systems for international providers.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Please Fleety, this is an English language site and if we are to offer our collective wisdom we all need to understand what each other says. If you want to converse with this chap in French send him a PM.

Connexions c'est pas mal, mais il vaut demander des autres offres, par example, ITECS, pour comparer les coutes.

          Bonne chance.
          I'm alright Jack

(Tugs forelock) yes, TLG, no TLG.
I said that I've never used Connexion, but that they seem to have a good reputation.

Sorry Fleety, didnt mean to sound pompous. My French is crap but I got the gist, Blaster seems to have a different opinion.
I was just a little concerned that we may send confused messages or that other interested parties may miss out on good advice.

I generally dont do taking the piss in the serious forums.

See, my French is crap. Usual langugae trouble saw the Mal but missed the pas! Thoose small negating words change the whole meaning.

Obviously the guy you were posting too will have understood so no real harm.

                    Keep Away From Itecs

Only advise I can give is keep away from ITECS. They are without doubt
one of the worst companies out there.

First you will be charged just short of 4,000 euros per year for their services, second don't expect anything for this.

ITECS = lots of problems and lots of stress.

If your reading this ITECS and don't like it: then bring it on!
