I couldn´t agree more with you Craig. Sometimes youve got to
´think outside the box´to get yourself noticed these days.
Theirs only one caveat I wish to add. If the Interviewer was

If you write in sloppy lazy English then that's how you come over and it tends to spill over into professional work. It's not uncommon to see poor English in official documents and on the BBC these days.

It's nothing to do with a working class background, it's about taking at least a little pride in how you present yourself, maybe that's part of the reason you're a bench warmer.
