    Yep. I think it is outrageous that a contractor does what he wants and risks the poor agents commission that he has worked so hard for. Filthy contractor scum!!!

      What does your contract say? Does it have a notice period so they can terminate it early or are they obliged to offer you work for the full duration of the contract?

      Most likely they can terminate you anytime they like. Lots of people here even say you should just suck it up and walk away if they terminate you without giving the contractually required notice too.

      Have a read of the list of Noobie contractor mistakes, number 11, 12 and maybe even 4 too.
