    Help with tenders

    Hi guys

I am looking to write up tenders for contracts. I have no experience in this so first time.

Is there a website where i can get sample IT support contracts?

I was also thinking hiring someone to write up tenders or get for me then if i get contracts i pay him a share ? is something like this legal? purely because i have no skills with tenders. but if have to willing to do myself

    thanks in advance

It's reasonably simple. Just follow the instructions in the clients RFP and then make sure your legal department review any commitments you make.

It is not illegal for someone to tender a response for you .... but I doubt you will find someone willing to do it on a "No Win, No Fee" basis.

If you did find someone willing to do it on those terms then you would need to review their response very carefully as you might find yourself "Winning" a support contract to provide 24x7x365 at a bargain rate of £5 per hour.

As someone who had to evaluate tenders in a previous life I would say as above plus

Treat it like an exam question.

Answer the questions that are asked. dont leave sections out as you will then score 0 on that section.

provide evidence like copies of your procedures as appendices,

give sufficient detail, dont assume anything but dont blather

If you know your spelling or grammar isnt perfect get someone to read it for you, it might get read by a pedant.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the reply I made earlier.

Everyone seems to have a lot of time on their hands today.

To be fair, that was quite a funny second reply!
