Finance/Accountant contractors?

The contractors here are IT. There are accountants but not here as contractors but advisers and service providers to contractors.

I've certainly had clients who are qualified accountants, but they seem quite rare.

tonnes of accounting IT contractors - they get to bill more

Yes - there are contracting accountants here (

hello!). If you ignore the techie IT questions then the advice on the site is relevant to any contractor really. Make sure you don't ask stupid accounting questions though because that will generate a rant from some of the regulars who think that all accountants should know everything about accounting............

I would be interested to know what bit didn't work out in permie land and why contracting is your next choice? There are a lot right reasons, just asking out of interest.
