There was a lovely set of stories on Cringely last year about IBM and its methods of importing workers via different hub airports to hide what was going on.

Infosys is considered, by Bob, to be the highest integrity, most honest company out of the sub-continent.

In the States, they have received the most attention when it comes to not following the rules - targeted for a range of infractions: unfairness to the few token non-Bobs ( civil lawsuits ), immigration infractions ( use of visitor visas for Bobs placed on client sites, I-95 irregularities ) as well as civil lawsuits by former bob employees ( no overtime pay for years on end ).

With the pressure on the "most honest" company, Bob is now crying there are not enough temporary H1B visas ( seems visitor visa workers onsite are way down ). Hell, the H1B visas were more than maxed out in the first 2 days of application acceptance - first time in years!

Why oh why has nothing similar happened in the UK? Vince Cable with his spouse from the sub-continent is the first reason to spring to mind!
