I've never understood how people think creating a company is so difficult you need an expert to do it for you. Go on the Companies House website it takes 5 minutes, the hardest part is deciding on your company name. Then go to a bank and ask to open a company bank account, they'll sort that out for you. Then get an accountant, loads on here to choose from.

    Then find a contract ...

+1 - I go with a reputable contractor-friendly firm (Nixon Williams) and they're absolutely worth the money I pay them. It would be disingenuous to tar the accountancy profession because of the (unscrupulous) actions of one person.

            ...

Lots of nervous sockies newbies here repeating the name of the company they probably want to advertise.

            I call shenanigans.

And I've removed all references to said company.
