Two agencies - same role - slightly different job descriptions...

So your post is even less helpful, and nowhere near as amusing as the others... The irony is killing me.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

I have been refused interview by a client while I was sat in the car park waiting to go in becuase two agents were fighting over who put me in first when I made this mistake.
What you did was possibly technically correct I don't think it will make a difference now. You haven't mentioned what agent 2 said but I can imagine he won't be happy and possibly won't let it drop. Assuming they put 2 CV's in you have effectively cut his chances of getting his comission in half so can't believe he will take it lying down (waits for Stek...) Just cross your fingers and hope this one blows over.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

I'm sure my CV got through the 1st recruiter as they sent me a tech test - at least that's a starting point. Worse comes to worse, I won't have that role - but that's not the only job on Earth available to me.
Maybe I'd get the other role the 2nd recruiter put me through, who knows
Thanks all.
p.s. I wouldn't invite for a drink a recruiter that call me 2 times in a row, then send me an email, leave me a voicemail and immediately calls me back again... doesn't sound very smart, does itComment

Is there any way to make this a sticky (like the OP's shoe)?Comment

Seems to me that it's up to the client to decide which agency (if any) to work with going forward. I imagine it's not uncommon for a person's CV to land in front of a client more than once from different sources, they must have a procedure for handling this, even if it's just a matter of which one came first...
