Yes thanks.
Oh, I see. How about
You might want to use real names instead of the bold bits.Dear Sirs
Conduct of Employment Agencies – Limited Company Opt Out
We hereby give notice, pursuant to regulation 32 of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 ("the Regulations") that both my little company and zorgi do not wish the Regulations to apply to any engagements through your pathetic excuse of an agency
Sincerely,
And before you ask, it's a straight lift from the PCG's Guide to the Agency Regs.
Blog? What blog...?

Just tell the agency you want to opt out and they will jump at the chance to have you sign away your statutory rights.Originally posted by zorgi View PostAnyone knows where I can download Opt Out form template?

@malvolio Thanks
Yeah I am reading all day long about this issue and really am finding it very confusing ...Originally posted by Wanderer View PostJust tell the agency you want to opt out and they will jump at the chance to have you sign away your statutory rights.
in OR out. To me its just a hustle to be honest. One huge gray area ... in particular ... Why I can not Opt Out if interview had already happen? Its crazy. Than again agents never ask you to opt out before you go for an interview so mostly people opt out too late. According to PCG you are already introduced to client if they read your CV ... As a newbie you don't have a way of knowing all this. Someone clear this up for me

You aren't confusing the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations with the Agency Workers Regulations are you?
Because that's how the government decided to write the law. Why is it a problem to not be able to opt out? There is nothing to stop you and the agency from proceeding to do business as if you had opted out. No one is going to force you to assert your rights under the agency conduct regulations and the agency will happily deny you your rights if you choose not to assert them.Originally posted by zorgi View PostWhy I can not Opt Out if interview had already happen?
Did you read the opt out sticky? You can also read the Agency Regulations section 32 which contains the provision to opt out.Originally posted by zorgi View PostThan again agents never ask you to opt out before you go for an interview so mostly people opt out too late.
