They both stayed for short periods. They were pretty imcompoentent for their jobs and asked to leave.
What twaddle. They would have been the same interviewers whether it was direct or via agent so I don't know what on earth them BS in the interviews has got to do with it.

Their quality of work has got sod all to do with the method they were recruited either.

    Just rubbish.

      And that applies to:
      1. Companies
      2. People
      3. Agencies

The only organisation you can guarantee to get your money from is the government and even governments can go bust.........
It's good practice to credit check any company you work with, whether its the end client or the agency. As you said there are no guarantees but that's not an excuse to go in with your eyes shut.

Regardless of the guarantee or lack of it, you can use the results of the credit check to negotiate better payment terms, so if they do go bust you won’t lose as much.

ok I'm off my high horse now.

So I should go with option A or B as I might get an easier ride at the interview. Interesting angle

So are you suggesting from your experience of 2 contractors, that the ones that go direct are incompetent bulltulipters? Your a troll.

Regardless of credit checking organisations - you should always get give your agencies and clients the smallest amount of credit possible.

That way if they can't pay you for any reason then you can use it as an excuse to bail before they leave you seriously out of pocket.

              Nah s/he is an agent.

Lots of contractors go direct - but you wouldn't know that unless you know plenty of other contractors or do it regularly yourself.

Thank you for fixing that. I now understand when to use your and you're.

So if I was using this in a sentence I could say...

You're being pedantic or your post is pedantic.

                  Cheers
