      Find it depends on the local manager and your relationship with them. They know if they force you to do this then you might tell them to stuff it.

      Most clients aren't that dull. They know the score that you aren't really going to want to go to a different office miles away. But then again, who knows how some clients think sometimes?

      Known many permie employers who do this. Tells them they're working from office A (sometimes different country) for 3 months like it or lump it. Never understood why permies do this - if you're going end up moving around like this, living away from family might as well jack it in and go contracting for the extra coinage!
