    Directors Payment Pattern

    Hi All,

    1. What is the standard pattern to pay director out of its own limited company? The most tax efficient way please.

    2. Best accountancy firm please?

    -Thanks

You need to read the guides to the right. In there will explain the best strategy to pay yourself. There maybe other advice that is pertinent to yourself that we are not aware of so our advice may not be the best for you... Read the guides then come back with a question that isn't clearly explained in there ...

Accountant suggestion threads pop up alot so also familiarise yourself with how to search on CUK as every question you can think of at this stage has been discussed in detail. How to search can be found here http://forums.contractoruk.com/welco...uk-forums.html

    Account suggestions are here...

In addition to what NLUK said, please bear in mind that there are many many people who have been new contractors at some point (pretty much everyone who is an experienced contractor now!) and many of them have asked questions etc on this forum.

If your question is anything other than an edge case then it has probably been asked at least once before so the fastest way to get the info is to search the forums. If you do not do this and just ask anyway then the regular posters might not be as helpful as they can be as they will perceive you as wanting them to do your work for you.

If you do a search and do not get the info you need it might help if you explain you have searched (link to the threads) and explain why that did not provide you with the required information.
