If I buy a laptop immediately before company formation, can I claim this (assuming obviously that I can justify the expense as necessitated by the company activities)? Any differences in what can be reclaimed compared to buying same using business bank account once the company has been formed and raked in some cash?

Not that I know of. The time limit I think before company formation is 6 months but I am not an accountant and would check that.Originally posted by xara View PostAny differences in what can be reclaimed compared to buying same using business bank account once the company has been formed and raked in some cash? The proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek Points -
Best speak to your accountant. Mine told me that I could sell the laptop to my ltd for some fee. Obviously you decide the price but it might be hard to justify £1500 for an advent Rome if HRMC come knocking one day.Comment
