Best speak to your accountant. Mine told me that I could sell the laptop to my ltd for some fee. Obviously you decide the price but it might be hard to justify £1500 for an advent Rome if HRMC come knocking one day.

Not that I know of. If I buy a laptop immediately before company formation, can I claim this (assuming obviously that I can justify the expense as necessitated by the company activities)?
