Working from home and at client site (50/50) - worthwhile amending contract?

    Hi all

My contract extension has been negotiated to include an element of working from home, which will average out on a 50/50 split between client site and home office.

The wording in the previous contract is something along the lines of:-

"Services will normally be provided on the client's or supplier's premises....". There is no reference to hours, days per week etc; it's simply a 6 month 'project' contract. It's the standard PCG contract.

From an IR35 perspective: should I amend this wording to be more specific in terms of the agreement to work at home?

I was thinking something like "Services will be provided on the supplier's own premises as well as on client premises when needed, to be agreed between the consultancy and client".

    Read the contract again -

No need to amend the contract as you are already covered as the supplier.

I would make sure as you work if you have any other documents to back up that you are working in both places you keep them.
